Q. Do I need propane to start?
A. No. The BBQ's are fueled by wood. You can use paper. We recommend our starter paper which is water proof.
Q. How much wood do I need? How often do I have to replenish the combustion chamber?
A. The wood comes in all sizes and the smaller pieces are the best for starting. Let's say your having a
BBQ for 4 people cooking 4 steaks. If we use the size of a charcoal briquette as a size reference. It will take about
1-2 pieces to start depending on how dry the wood is and what type of wood you are using. You probably won't use more
than 2-4 additional cubes.
Q. If I am using the batteries how long will they last?
A. You should get 36 to 40 hours on 4 fresh d cell batteries. If you use the AC adapter you get a slight increase
in power.
